ABMC6 welcomes the submission of abstracts of original contribution to the field in the scientific theme/scientific sessions of the Congress. Abstract submission is open from December 15, 2016 to July 15, 2017 – 23:59 Indian Standard Time (+5:30 GMT). During this period abstracts will be accepted through online submission form available on the Congress website.

Before submitting abstract one has to "Sign Up" at the ABMC6 site with your e-mail address. Click "Online Abstract Submission" link below and "log in" using your credentials to upload the abstract file.

Abstract Submission Guidelines

An abstract of one page in MS Word format of 12 font size (Times New Roman) and single spaced with a word count not exceeding 500 should be submitted by 15 July 2017. The abstract consists of a title, author list, affiliation and contact email address. It can also include tables or graphs/images. A few key literature references should be also included.

Those who wish to compete for Young Scientist, MAHE, Bajpai-Saha and Travel Awards need to submit extended abstract with a minimum of 2000 words containing all results and images with key references. Only those satisfy these criteria will be considered for awards. Students need to attach the recommendation of their respective guides to be considered for a travel award.

Young Scientist Award

Extended abstracts are invited from young investigators for Oral Presentation in the Young Scientist Forum Session. This six presentations (15 min each) will be evaluated by the expert team. Deadline July 15, 2017. Any Scientist/Research Associate/Post Doctoral Fellow who are up to 35 years of age as on October 25, 2017 can participate in Young Scientist Award presentation.

MAHE Award, Bajpai-Saha Award, Best Poster Award, Travel Award

There are a few other Awards that are sponsored by SBAOI and the AMBC6 that will be declared during the Congress. There will be two MAHE Awards for Best Faculty Presentations, two Bajpai-Saha Awards for Best Student Presentations and four Best Poster Presentation Awards. There will also be four Travel Awards restricted to ‘to and fro’ 3 Tier AC train fare, which will be based on the merit of the work. Those who wish to be considered for the Travel Award need to submit an extended abstract with not less than 2000 words with all results and images through the abstract submission portal in order to be considered for a travel award. Students need to attach the recommendation of their respective guides to be considered for a travel award. Scientist/Academic Faculty with Regular or Tenure Track employment can compete for MAHE award. There will be no age restriction. Students who are pursuing PhD can compete for Bajpai-Saha Award.
