Special issue of TIBAO

Those delegates who wish to submit full papers can submit their manuscripts to the e-mail abmc6.2017@gmail.com indicating "for ABMC6 Special Issue" and this will be published in Trends in biomaterials and Artificial Organs, after peer review, as a special issue that will be available to the delegates during the Congress. Last date of submission is September 30, 2017. Kindly refer the journal site (http://www.biomaterials.org.in/ojs/index.php/tibao) for Author Instructions.


Chandra P. Sharma Award 2017

Prof. Gilson Khang, Department of Polymer Nano Science and Technology, Chonbuk National University, Jeonju, South Korea, is nominated for the the Chandra P Sharma Award for the year 2017. He will be receiving the award and will be delivering the award lecture on October 25, 2017 during ABMC6 to be held at Thiruvananthapuram, India. Travel grant is sponsored by Stephen R. Ash, Ash Access Technology, Inc. USA for delivering the Plenary Lecture at Thiruvananthapuram.


Congress Awards

Young Scientist Award

Extended abstracts are invited from young investigators for Oral Presentation in the Young Scientist Forum Session. This six presentations (15 min each) will be evaluated by the expert team. Deadline July 15, 2017. Any Scientist/Research Associate/Post Doctoral Fellow who are up to 35 years of age as on October 25, 2017 can participate in Young Scientist Award presentation.

MAHE Award, Bajpai-Saha Award, Best Poster Award, Travel Award

There are a few other Awards that are sponsored by SBAOI and the AMBC6 that will be declared during the Congress. There will be two MAHE Awards for Best Faculty Presentations, two Bajpai-Saha Awards for Best Student Presentations and four Best Poster Presentation Awards. There will also be four Travel Awards restricted to ‘to and fro’ 3 Tier AC train fare, which will be based on the merit of the work. Those who wish to be considered for the Travel Award need to submit an extended abstract with not less than 2000 words with all results and images through the abstract submission portal in order to be considered for a travel award. Students need to attach the recommendation of their respective guides to be considered for a travel award. Scientist/Academic Faculty with Regular or Tenure Track employment can compete for MAHE award. There will be no age restriction. Students who are pursuing PhD can compete for Bajpai-Saha Award.

Abstract Submission Deadline Extended to July 15, 2017.
